We're overjoyed to share Songbirds in Harmony, Musiquita's fourth album, featuring our very own children's choir. Across thirteen heartfelt songs, twenty-one remarkable young singers fill every track with joy, honesty, and hope. Every child has a special moment to shine, reminding us that music is at its most powerful not when every voice sounds the same, but when every unique voice is celebrated.

Songbirds in Harmony began just two years ago with nine children gathered in our tiny home studio to sing, play, and learn together. What started as a small musicianship class quickly blossomed into a joyful performing ensemble and an extraordinary community. Today, the choir includes children ages six through twelve from many different backgrounds. Some speak English, Spanish, Russian, or Portuguese. Some have years of musical training, while others simply arrived with curiosity and an open heart. They come from public schools, private schools, and homeschool communities, yet they have become one beautiful choir where every child belongs, every voice matters, and every friendship enriches the whole group.

Over the past two years, these young musicians have shared unforgettable experiences together—from neighborhood rehearsals and concerts to performances at the Queens Botanical Garden, the WQXR Queens Classical Kids Fair, and their very first full-length concert at Flushing Town Hall. This album marks another exciting milestone, giving the children the opportunity to record together in the world-class Bunker Studio in Brooklyn and experience the joy of creating a professional album as a team.

At its heart, Songbirds in Harmony is about much more than music. It is about kindness, belonging, community, and celebrating what makes each of us unique while discovering the beauty of creating something together. We hope these songs inspire children and families to sing boldly, care deeply for one another and for our planet, and help bring a little more love into the world.

We are equally grateful to the wonderful parents and families of our Songbirds, whose encouragement, trust, and countless hours of support made every rehearsal, performance, and recording session possible.
